Samiha Chaaban is a Lebanese attorney at law and a human rights and peace activist, a trainer and a facilitator since 2005.

Throughout her career, Samira has advised major local and international clients on various commercial and civil legal matters. She also handles numerous litigation cases in front of the civil and penal courts and in front of the Labor Arbitration Council. She has 15 years of experience in working with NGOs and INGOs in matters related to Human Rights, Women Rights and Gender Justice, Public Liberties/freedom of expression, Democratic Elections and Electoral reforms, Peace Building, Mediation and Conflict Transformation, Laborers rights (Lebanese and Migrants) and underprivileged citizens’ rights. She provides legal support and consultancies to laborers and groups of individuals wishing to establish Syndicates or NGOs.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative French and Lebanese Law from the Filiere Francophone de Droit (Lebanese University – French Section).
